5 Types Of Gaslighting
1. Withholding - when the abusive partner refuses to listen or reason with the hurt partner, basically, having no communication.
2. Countering - when the abusive partner questions an event that had happened for real but puts a question about it in the mind of the hurt partner.
3. Blocking & diverting - when the abusive partner turns the topic of a healthy communication to something insignificant.
4. Trivializing - when the abusive partner minimizes the hurt partner's feelings and emotions, basically, undervalue the feelings and emotions.
5. Forgetting & denial - when the abusive partner acts like they don't remember a situation or a conversation that occurred.
