Eat Only 80%
I read the famous book, Ikigai, from Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia in 2020, and one that thing that has always stuck with me since is the concept of eating only upto my 80% capacity.
Ikigai is a book that tries to decode the secret if longevity in Japanese people, and one such secret was the 80% rule. In this rule, you only and only eat upto your 80 percent of your stomach's capacity. When you eat with a limit, your stomach and digestive system get less pressure and strain on them. And would not make you feel lethargic.
Seriously, I'm so happy that I follow this rule, it has changed my thinking and life, because I can't go to the gymnasium to exercise, but certain practices like the 80% rule have my back.
