Butterfly Leap
My father told me a story when I was in class 8 or 9 (frankly, I don't remember which class). The story went like; a man found a caterpillar inside his garden, he took it and thought of taking care of it, so the caterpillar would grow into a beautiful butterfly, so he kept it in his garden which was a closed room.
Days went by, the caterpillar changed into a cocoon and then into a butterfly. And on one day, the man decided to release the butterfly. Strangely, the butterfly could not cope up with the trees of the outside, or the outside world for that matter. The butterfly fumbled and even after trying so damn hard, it went on to become a prey to a frog.
So, the main talk from this is, you need to go out, see the world, it all looks and feels nice to us virtually. Seeing (and observing) is believing.
Due to low exposure to the outside world, we might end up being a frog's dinner.
We HAVE to gain experience, exposure, meaning of everything that would make us who we want to be. We HAVE to be the butterfly who doesn't end up in a frog's tummy.
